Once your refund has been processed by our team, you'll receive a confirmation email. Here's what to expect from that point on.

How long until funds appear in your account

Credit card: Refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days from the date processed. Some banks post them in as few as 3 days; others can take up to 10.

Debit card: The same 3–5 business day window applies, though processing times vary by bank.

Shop Pay / Buy Now Pay Later: Refunds are returned to your installment plan, not your bank account directly. Processing times can take up to 10 business days.

Store credit / gift card: Your gift card code will arrive via email within 1–2 business days. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

Our team processes refunds immediately. The 3–5 business day window is entirely on your bank or card issuer's side. If the funds haven't appeared after 5 business days, please contact your bank directly — they can locate any pending credits from CLEARSTEM.

What if it's been more than 5 business days?

Refund delays on our side are very rare — our team processes them immediately. If 5 business days have passed since your confirmation email and funds haven't appeared, the most likely explanation is a hold or delay on your bank's end.

  1. Check your spam/junk folder for the refund confirmation email — it confirms your refund was processed.
  2. Contact your bank directly. Ask them to search for a pending or posted credit from CLEARSTEM. Banks can sometimes show credits before they're fully posted.
  3. Still nothing after contacting your bank? Reach out to us at [email protected] with your order number and we'll provide the transaction ID so your bank can trace it.

Refund expiration & store credit

Store credit and gift cards issued as part of a return do not expire. If you were issued a gift card code and never received it, contact us with your order number and we'll reissue it.

Refunds on subscription orders

If your refund was for a subscription order, the amount is returned to the original payment method on file — not as store credit — unless you specifically requested store credit. Subscription refunds follow the same 3–5 business day timeline on the bank's side.
