What is PREGAME®?

Your skin's version of a spa day, in five minutes. PREGAME® is CLEARSTEM's brightening and exfoliating facial mask that combines physical and chemical exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and deliver visibly smoother, more radiant-looking skin.

Made with Fruit Acid AHAs, Bamboo, and Turmeric, PREGAME delivers visibly brightening, smoothing results, the look of softened wrinkles, and visibly faded post-blemish marks, right from your bathroom. It's the mask we reach for before photos, events, or whenever your skin needs a reset.

How do I use it?

• Apply to clean, damp skin.
• Gently massage onto face, neck, and chest and leave on for 5 minutes, or up to 10 minutes for a more intense exfoliation.
• Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Follow immediately with HYDRAGLOW™ for a quick smoothing, brightening, and glowing effect without dryness.
• For a deeper exfoliation: follow with CLEARITY® after rinsing.
• Do not use it in the same session as VITAMINSCRUB®. Combining two exfoliating steps in one session is too much for most skin.
• Always follow with SPF the morning after use.

This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), increasing sun sensitivity and sunburn risk. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure during use and for a week after.

How often should I use PREGAME®?

Up to 2 times per week, morning or evening. Once a week is the sweet spot for most people. It delivers spa-like results and is ideal for prepping skin before photos or events. If you're also using CLEARITY® and VITAMINSCRUB® regularly, be mindful of your total weekly exfoliation load.

Why does PREGAME® + HYDRAGLOW™ work so well together?

Think of it as a "wax on, wax off" partnership. PREGAME® helps remove old, dull-looking skin, revealing a fresher, more vibrant-looking complexion. HYDRAGLOW™ then steps in with Plant Stem Cells and nourishing ingredients for the fresh skin beneath. Exfoliation works best when paired with hydration. Together they amplify each other's results while keeping your skin barrier happy and intact.

I feel a tingling or burning sensation. Is that normal?

A mild tingling sensation while using PREGAME® is normal and usually temporary, especially when you first start using it. It should subside with regular use as your skin adjusts to AHA exfoliation.

That said, trust your instincts. If the sensation feels more than a mild tingle. If it feels genuinely uncomfortable or is progressing to burning, rinse the product off immediately and discontinue use. Consult a physician if the reaction persists after rinsing.

What is the shimmer in PREGAME®?

The shimmer comes from Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, a lab-made mineral (synthetic mica) coated with Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides for a light-reflecting, luminous finish. It's a mineral shimmer, not plastic glitter.

What does Bamboo do in PREGAME®?

Bamboo provides the physical exfoliation component in PREGAME®: fine Bamboo particles gently buff the surface of the skin while the AHA fruit acids provide chemical exfoliation. Together they give PREGAME® its dual-action effect.

Will PREGAME® help with acne?

PREGAME® isn't an acne treatment, but it's a great tool for supporting the look of clearer, brighter skin as part of a full routine. The single most important step for breakout-prone skin is removing all pore-clogging ingredients from your skincare, haircare, and makeup. PREGAME® supports the appearance of clearer, brighter skin, but those other factors have to be addressed for lasting results.

Can I use PREGAME® in the morning?

Yes! PREGAME® can be used in the morning or evening. If you use it in the morning, always apply YOUARESUNSHINE® SPF 50+ as your final step, as AHA increases sun sensitivity.
